Prayer Feed

Wednesday 27 June 2012 Keep praying for the situation in Syria. Pray for ordinary people who have been affected by the war there, losing loved ones, homes, livelihoods, etc. Lift up those who are grieving or suffering because of violence. Pray that both the army and the rebels would respect human life and that soldiers on either side would have courage to resist harming civilians. Monday 16 April 2012 Pray for the impact of The Seekers, a film sharing the testimonies of believers from the Gulf. Released almost two years ago, the film has now been made available for download on mobile phone. May many make the choice to believe and follow Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Read More

Pray that he would work in President Assad's heart as well as those outside the country as they work to bring an end to the situation. May the interests of the Syrian people be of utmost priority. And may those who have brought injustice to the Syrian people, be held accountable for their actions. Read More

January 2012

Prayer Feed

Thursday 19 January 2012 Lift up Syria's significant Christian minority. Barnabas Fund report that a "series of kidnappings and brutal murders" have taken place recently. They cite a "reliable source" and relay fears of Syria going the way of post-Saddam Iraq, which has lost most of its indigenous Christian population. Although we don't make political comment on the situation in Syria, these latest events seem to confirm that Syrian Christians face an even bleaker future if/when Assad steps down. Let's stand with our brothers and sisters in prayer, asking for God to give them strength and hope at this dark time. Read More
